My journey into UX and visual design was built upon by my multidisciplinary background. After obtaining an education in environmental science and gaining professional experience in biotechnology, I realized that all of my work involved helping people through technological innovation and digital interface development. The intersection of these multiple fields is where I discovered UX/UI design and research.

I approach my designs with understanding problems and long-term solutions. I want to solve problems with an innovative and aesthetic approach, embedded in research. I’m curious about how design can attract and motivate users, and also help simplify their tasks. Balancing the art and science of design, I utilize the process of UX, visual design, and research to creatively solve user problems and generate impact.

When I am not UXing, I like to spend time with my dog and do anything creative with plants (such as bonsai) or nature. I am adventurous yet composed, humorous yet professional, and imaginative yet realistic.
